Dubbed “The Human Jukebox” by late Pat DiNizio (lead singer-songwriter of The
Smithereens), Scott Erickson is one of the most dynamic and versatile musicians performing today. Based out of Northeast/Central Pennsylvania, Scott plays all over PA, NJ, NY, DE, MD, VA,Chicago, IL, and as far West as Portland, OR and Burbank, CA. “Playing live music has always been my passion,” says Erickson. “I love being on the road and getting to meet people.”
Scott’s repertoire is indeed vast and diverse, as evidenced by the thousands of songs on his playlist by artists such as the Beatles, Del Amitri, Billy Joel, and many more ranging from the 1950’s through today. This large repertoire, combined with the fact that almost every one of his shows are “By Request”, demonstrate how he’s earned his nickname.
After 30 years of entertaining professionally, Erickson still loves what he does as much as when he first started. He’s eager to play for as many new audiences, and in as many areas around the world as possible.
