How to book a wedding caterer

Get to know who will be in charge of catering your wedding

What kind of food you want to see at your wedding?

Many of my clients find me through our website, they might check out our Instagram, come by and see the restaurant, but the most important part in trying to understand who I am and what my business can do for you is by getting in touch with me.

The Simmons Family decided to change venues with six months before their wedding, and their initial caterer could not make it happen. Instead of being at a standard wedding venue, the family wanted to host the wedding and reception at their home. They found us, and we got to talking!

I was able to spend time on the phone with the mother of the bride, and sort through what they were hoping to see featured at the event, and how they would like service to run.

We developed a personal relationship with one another so we each felt comfortable asking the questions you have to have the perfect service at the wedding.

Choosing linens, choosing the service style, all of these things go a long way to making you, the client, confident that you have made the correct choice for your wedding catering company.

The family knew me. They trusted me. They let me know how to best serve them, and we executed to the standard we hold ourselves to.

You might come to me with predetermined menus and ideas and they might be perfect! We can make those the focus of a tasting menu. I will certainly also put some modern spins on different ideas though to showcase different styles of food. Appetizers we have all the ability to customize and make sure your appetizers stand out from the crowd.

After a conversation, we progress to a tasting where you will come into the restaurant and we get to present some options and styles of food for you to try. We will make sure you decide on items that you love and want to introduce to your family and friends.

We will work through hor d’ourves, cocktails, raw bar, desserts, and of course, the main entrees that you will be serving at your wedding. We provide you with a tasting menu ahead of time, and you let us know what you’re interested in trying and we will make those dishes for you that day.

It is the most fun I have as a wedding service caterer. We get to pick apart the dishes, see what flavors you love and what ones you can do without. Its also typically the point that many say, “hey, we want to book your company.” Which of course, I take as the highest compliment.

We offer tastings for the couple and two others for $150 total, and if you do choose to book with us, that is refunded.

What is the timeline

How do you book

How much should you expect to pay

As weddings take a serious amount of planning followed by days of preparation and arrangements of travel, we want to get all of the booking out of the way months in advance so any changes made are tweaks rather than a complete reorganization of what we have built.

The typical timeline is for people to do their tasting 3-8 months before wedding day, from there we collect a deposit which officially books us as the catering provider for the event. We will have a meeting a month before at the venue so we can see everything and get a layout in place so you and I are on the same page. Then we will get the final orders in and seating chart about two weeks the wedding. Finally, we have a phone call the week of and make sure there are no other adjustments you want to see.

Then its wedding day! You get to enjoy it, and we get to have a blast servicing your wedding reception.

After contacting me, I will set up a tasting for you and your family to come by. If you love it, we build a full quote for you. After tweaking and making sure its exactly what you want, we will send over an invoice for the deposit, officially booking us for your wedding!

If you get in touch with me using the below form, I will be able to get you squared away and begin the process of taking care of all your needs.

We will only use it to contact you!
First and last, please
I'll text you to get the ball rolling
"I'm not sure" , "about 80" , "43" , "just 10 of my bridal party"
"spring of 2026!" , "Not for another few months, at a venue in Exton"
"I know exactly what I want" , "Can you please help me figure this out?"

There are so many factors that go into the total cost for your wedding. I will be as forthcoming as possible at every step of the way! I am always happy to answer questions. You are spending money with me and I will provide value for you in return.

An event where I am just supposed to make the food and drop it off is substantially less involved than one where we will be bringing our staff to make everyone’s plated meals on site.

If we were just providing you food to set up, typical per person costs range from 60-80 per person.

However, if we are looking into seated and plated meals for your reception, you should expect that my quote will come in from 120-175 per person.

I do not believe in understaffing for an event of the magnitude of your wedding. I will have the correct amount of people there to make sure whatever you need done, gets done at tghe right time and in the right way. We will not appear rushed, you will be confident when you see my staff walk through that door. You will feel confident that after we leave, you will not find anything that indicated we were there.
